Cloths for needy Poor People

Clothing is a fundamental need of the human kind. Apart from covering one's body, clothing protects us from the sun, rain and cold. Further, it gives dignity to our 'self'. Gandi Help Foundation through its interaction with the community realised that clothing did much more than just covering the human body.

When this came to notice, Gandi Help Foundation intervened by simply giving each of them pair of basic clothes suitable for college from its clothes bank "Vastra" and this simple initiative led to the continuation of their studies. Further it was noticed that in villages, lack of decent clothing, deter women from stepping out of their house for months together. This in turn has other adverse implications on their empowerment and psychology that can be prevented easily with a few clothes.
